A DAY OF PATRIOTISM AND PRIDE India celebrates its independence on August 15th to commemorate the country’s freedom from British rule and to remember our history with pride. The celebration at MET School began with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The school premises were beautifully decorated in tri-colour, to mark the occasion.MET President, Sri. Mathai Eappen, hoisted the National flag, followed by a message to begin the celebration. It was accompanied by the reciting of Vande Matharam.All students were invited to take part in the celebration. The JRC, Scouts and Guides students actively participated in the celebration, adding to the patriotic spirit of the event. Following this, inspiring speeches were given by the school management and students, emphasizing the sacrifices of freedom fighters and our responsibilities as citizens. The celebration ended with National Anthem and sweet distribution. The celebration left the students with a renewed sense of patriotism and a profound appreciation for the freedom of our nation. website heading
